--------------------------------------------- A question in a recent forum post about SecureCRT's tab behavior made us think it was time to revisit the tip, "Moving Tabs in SecureCRT". This tip shows you how to move one or more tabs to a new window and then back again. It also provides information about "cloning" tabs. Follow this link to read the tip. Try this additional shortcut with session tabs: use the ALT+1 through ALT+0 key combinations to directly navigate to any of the first ten SecureCRT tabs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How many SecureCRT customers out there take complete advantage of the button bar to save time and avoid tedious repetition of keystrokes? Take a look at the online button bar tip to make sure you aren't missing any opportunities to launch applications, issue complex shell commands, invoke scripts, or any of the eight different functions that you can attach to a button. Not to mention that you might want the bar in another location than the default spot at the bottom of the window. The beta 2 release of VShell server 3.9, which includes optional FTPS support on UNIX platforms, was made available October 11. VShell 3.9 with FTPS provides support for secure file transfer using the FTP protocol with SSL/TLS encryption. SecureCRT 7.0 new features include tiled sessions (Windows only), a built-in TFTP server, a "Skip" button for authentication methods, and button bar enhancements. SecureFX(R) 7.0 gives you a toolbar filter to quickly find files and folders in the current local and remote working directories, faster synchronization as well as other synchronization enhancements, and enhancements to SFXCL. The latest ClientPack 7.0 utilities adds new capabilities to the VRALib API and the ability to generate OpenSSH format keys from the vkeygen command line. Maintenance releases were made August 28 to address issues identified in previous releases of SecureCRT, SecureFX, the VShell server, and the ClientPack utilities.
