The ClientPack utilities also support Mountain Lion. As Apple has already declared Mountain Lion to be the most heavily subscribed upgrade in the history of the Mac operating system, many of our users are looking to use SecureCRT on the new OS X. To download your copy of SecureCRT for Mac with Mountain Lion support, or any other 7.0.1 application, visit the VanDyke Software download pages today. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VanDyke Software is looking for customers to test label line support for Wyse 50/60 emulation in pre-beta releases of SecureCRT for Windows. If you would like to test and provide feedback on this feature, please send e-mail to . --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forum member eiregobragh asks, "Is there a way of extracting all the hostnames and their IP details from a session folder into an Excel sheet?" Absolutely there is, using SecureCRT scripting. Brenda with Vandyke Software Customer Support posts a script that exports session information to a comma-delimited file, which can be easily imported into a spreadsheet or database. To read the complete thread on exporting SecureCRT session data, visit the VanDyke Software forums. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Entering the passphrase to your private key every time you connect to a new server can be tedious and time-consuming. To eliminate this repetition, SecureCRT provides a secure broker known as a "key agent", which holds and manages private keys on your workstations and responds to requests from remote systems to verify your keys. Agents offer a solid productivity benefit because, after the first time you unlocked your private key, subsequent authentication uses keys stored in the agent without prompting. The more sessions you open and close, the greater the gain. Read the complete tip on the VanDyke Software website today. ----------------------------------------
