" SecureCRT is a well-thought out and useful connection tool. We can't believe we used to "make do" with old-fashioned Telnet applications."

Lynne Seamans

Operating Systems Manager, Millersville University

I am the operating systems manager at Millersville University in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We have about 8,000 students and 1,000 members of faculty and staff. In addition to taking care of all the UNIX and UNIX-like systems administration duties for centrally managed servers, our group handles both Microsoft Exchange for faculty and staff and web mail with a UNIX back end for students.

We discontinued Telnet to all our UNIX servers quite a few years ago, and we limit command-line access to those who really need it (and as systems administrators, the folks in my group really need it!). SecureCRT® is our SSH client on Windows desktops. SecureCRT is a well-thought out and useful connection tool. We can't believe we used to make dowith old-fashioned Telnet applications. I don't know what I'd do without the "search in buffer" feature.
