Session configuration and management SecureCRT's forté is session management: name your sessions, save and recall session settings, configure custom keyboard, display, connection and other settings for each session. You can also organize your sessions in folders, copy a session to define a new connection, quickly create desktop shortcuts, and use Find to search for sessions by hostname or other criteria. |  |
Session tabs With the Mac OS X version just as in Windows, tabbed sessions show all your connections in one SecureCRT window – switch between tabs, launch an SFTP tab, clone a session, and track connection status just by looking at the tab status indicator. |

Send commands The SecureCRT Chat Window provides a quick way to queue commands, and the Send Chat to All Tabs option allows you to broadcast a command like top to every session tab.  |
Map keys and buttons The Mac OS X version supports mapped keys, where you choose a key combination and assign a function to it, from simple commands to executing scripts and launching applications. the same set of functions may also be assigned to a button on the button bar.  |
Session logging The Log File page of the Session Options dialog gives you many logging configuration choices, to support troubleshooting and archiving a complete connection history.  |
