How is the VShell® server licensed?

VShell is licensed by the number of concurrent client connections allowed. This is not the same as the number of concurrent users. For licensing purposes, the number of concurrent connections are defined by the number of logon sessions open through VShell. One user with two separate logon sessions counts as two concurrent connections. A user's port forwarding connection counts as 1 concurrent connection regardless of the number of port forwards.
