What is Scraper.exe? What purpose does it serve?
Scraper.exe is VShell's screen-scraping application used
to translate data formatted for Windows systems so that
it can be accessed by users running terminal emulators. The
screen scraper also reformats user input from terminal emulators
so that it can be understood by applications running on Windows
systems.
Note: Scraper.exe does not run when the
client connected to VShell® has requested the use of the scrollback
buffer.
