I need to replace nonsecure FTP

Use our SecureFX® client and VShell® server to provide secure file transfer instead of using FTP. Although FTP is still widely used and is broadly available on many client and server platforms, it can be a serious vulnerability to leave an FTP port open on the firewall. When you use FTP, every bit of data you send and receive is sent in the clear, including your user name and password.

  • SecureFX, the only file transfer application you'll ever need, supports SFTP, FTP over SSL (TLS), and conventional FTP.
  • Once connected securely, drag and drop files to and from the server to your local hard drive.
  • Includes sfxcl, a scriptable command-line utility for secure unattended file transfers.
  • VShell supports SFTP, SCP (a secure RCP replacement), as well as FTP over SSL (FTPS).
