How to Set the Initial Directory in SecureFX^®

Have you ever connected to a site for the first time, surfed around a little, and then found the directory you really want to go to? SecureFX can navigate directly to that directory the next time you connect to that site.

To set the initial directory, connect to a session, right-click on the folder you want, and click on the menu item "Set Initial Directory". This sets the initial directory to the selected folder. The setting takes effect the next time you connect. The same command is also available on the Edit pulldown menu.

If you don't want to make the initial directory setting permanent, you can use a global option called "Restore last session directory", which takes you to the directory you were in when you exited the last session.
