One Year Software Updates and Support

When you purchase a software license from VanDyke Software, you receive a perpetual license to the current official version of the product (at the time of your purchase) as well as the following benefits:

  • Unlimited access to software updates for one year from the date of license purchase, with no limit on minor or major releases.
  • Access to beta software releases with permanent registration privileges (i.e., no evaluation dialog and message) for one year.
  • Unlimited free technical support by email for one year.
  • Toll-based telephone technical support for one year.

Software Eligibility

If you have questions about whether you can upgrade without charge or you need to pay for an upgrade to a recent release, please see the Upgrade Eligibility page for your product in the Pricing section.

Software Maintenance

One year after your license purchase, access to software updates and technical support expires. Depending on the number of VanDyke Software licenses you have purchased, you can use one of the following options to extend access to technical support and product updates.

Client licenses:

One to 24 licenses
For those with up to 24 client licenses, a license upgrade purchase will extend update and support benefits for an additional twelve (12) months. Additional years of updates and support are also available.

25 or more licenses

For those with 25 or more client licenses, continued access to software updates can be ensured by purchasing a software maintenance program for one to three years. For more information or a price quote, please contact VanDyke Sales.

Server licenses:

One license
For single server license holders, a license upgrade purchase will extend your upgrade and support benefits for an additional twelve (12) months.

Two or more licenses

For those with two or more server licenses, continued access to software updates can be ensured by purchasing a software maintenance program for one to three years. For more information or a price quote, please contact VanDyke Sales.
