Changes in SecureFX 1.9.6 (Official) ------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - Under Windows XP, if an evaluation license was created while running the Application Verifier tool (appverif.exe), an "invalid license" error was displayed when running SecureFX subsequent times. - Under Windows XP, SecureFX would fail to create the configuration data folder. Changes in SecureFX 1.9.5 (Official) ------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - Connecting to FTP servers using a hostname could fail with "The Access Code is Invalid" error for 16-bit WinSock DLLs Changes in SecureFX 1.9.4 (Official) ------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - SSH2 connections would ignore the remote server's maximum packet size - Directory entries on Danish FTP servers would fail to display when dated in the month of "Maj" Changes in SecureFX 1.9.3 (Official) ------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - Quick Synchronize operations did not display SSH2-specific output to the log window - Opening an FTP over SSH2 session window and closing it before a connection could be established could cause a GPF if another session window was already open and connected - Directory listings from MacOS servers could display an incorrect file size - A GPF would occur when starting a quick synchronize operation with the log window disabled Changes in SecureFX 1.9.2 (Official) ------------------------------------ New features: - Added support for AES and Blowfish ciphers - Added support for generating and using RSA public keys - Added support for accepting RSA host keys when authenticating - Added global "Host Key Algorithms" registry parameter to specify the order in which host keys will be used to authenticate. The default is DSA then RSA. The option can also be used to limit which type of host key will be accepted Bug fixes: - The Key Generation wizard would exit when a problem occurred creating public-key pair files. Now, an error is displayed and control is returned to the "Finish" page instead - Upload transfers of large files using SFTP could terminate prematurely when compression was enabled - Authentication banners did not display when connecting to an SSH2 server - Viewing the Session Configuration dialog for a session could cause a GPF if the last selected page was not visible for the chosen protocol - The default "anonymous" username could appear with a capital "A" when configuring a session - Importing CuteFTP 4.x databases could cause a GPF - Upload transfers on systems using LANBridge sockets would upload data indefinitely Changes in SecureFX 1.9.1 (Official) ------------------------------------ New features: - The New Host Key dialog now displays an MD5 fingerprint of the SSH2 server's host key for easier verification - Added support for one-time passwords that use MD4 or MD5 Bug fixes: - Manual upload and remote edit operations could cause a GPF after the upload completed Changes in SecureFX 1.9 (Official) ---------------------------------- Bug fixes: - Under Windows 2000, when the application is run for the first time, the application prompts the user to create the application data folder - Changed the maximum delay time between connection retries from 60 seconds to 9 hours Bug fixes: - Disconnecting FTP over SSH2 and SFTP connections now completely disconnects from the SSH2 server - Reconnecting a failed SFTP connection could cause a GPF when closing the session window - Canceling an upload transfer on a slow SFTP connection could cause a GPF - Improved download speed of SFTP and FTP over SSH2 connections - Multiple simultaneous downloads on a single SFTP connection would transfer slowly or appear to stall - Multiple simultaneous transfers on a single SFTP connection could terminate prematurely - Login scripts that generate a lot of output could cause an "Out of memory" error message - The SSH2 address field on the Session Configuration SSH2 page could be incorrect after a login attempt failed using the FTP settings - The username field on the SSH2 page could display the anonymous username when clearing the "Use FTP settings" check box - A "bad channel" error could occur when reconnecting a session after the SFTP channel had been closed - Quick Connect dialog would clear entered data when the protocol was changed - Pressing the Help button on the License Wizard would cause an error message Changes in SecureFX 1.9 (Beta 2) -------------------------------- New features: - Added protocol selector to the Quick Connect dialog Changes: - Session Configuration dialog always displays the Public Key category for secure (SSH2) protocols - About Box dialog now displays license data and provides shortcuts to VanDyke Software support e-mail address and Web address - Moved the Session Configuration options "Disable directory tree detection" and "Verify file status on retrieve" to the Options category Bug fixes: - Attempting more than one SFTP operation simultaneously could cause a GPF if one prompted for user input - The Connect dialog would display an incorrect hostname in the tooltip for SFTP sessions - Filenames appended with an asterisk ('*') returned by SFTP servers could not be used - The Session Configuration dialog would display the FTP topic for SFTP sessions - The Session Configuration dialog did not disable the "File creation mask" option for SFTP sessions - Quick Synchronize could use an incorrect local path under Windows 2000 - Some files (e.g., .CAB) could appear as folders in the tree view and fail to transfer properly under Windows 2000 - The Session window would not display the initial directory when using Reconnect to establish a connection to a server that failed initially Changes in SecureFX 1.9 (Beta 1) -------------------------------- New features: -
