Changes in SecureFX 2.1.4 (Official) -- March 20, 2003 ------------------------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - A saved SFTP session did not allow the port to be 65535. - SecureFX crashed when accessing new filesystems (directories) on an AIX system. - SecureFX did not correctly parse file listing output from an MVS machine. Changes in SecureFX 2.1.3 (Official) -- January 21, 2003 -------------------------------------------------------- Bug fixes: - SecureFX failed to scrub usernames, passwords, and passphrases from memory after use. Scrubbing memory prevents an attacker with access to memory or a memory dump from getting authentication information. Changes in SecureFX 2.1 (Official) -- October 8, 2002 ----------------------------------------------------- Changes: - Changed the command line utility Sfxcl.exe to skip file transfers and set an error code when an error occurs rather than prompt the user. Bug fixes: - The transfer dialog didn't repaint itself when uncovered. - Clicking the Abort button did not stop reconnect attempts. - The /overwrite prompt flag did not work for Quick Synchronize. - Transfers failed on remote filenames that contained wildcard characters ("*" or "?"). Changes in SecureFX 2.1 (Beta 6) -- September 26, 2002 ------------------------------------------------------ Changes: - Added more file listing formats: AIX with no group field, HPUX with no group field and dates in day/month/year order, and AIX French. - Added "Sept." as a recognized abbreviation for September when parsing dates from the file listing. Bug fixes: - SecureFX would crash when attempting to retrieve properties on an empty listview. - Transfers with wildcards in the source path did not succeed. Changes in SecureFX 2.1 (Beta 5) -- September 12, 2002 ------------------------------------------------------ Bug fixes: - Connections to OpenSSH 3.3 and earlier servers failed because OpenSSH would disconnect SecureFX (and any other client) when an unsupported SFTP extension was requested. - SecureFX sometimes crashed when performing two multi-file transfers simultaneously using FTP over SSH2. Previously all sessions used the global firewall setting. Changes: - Added support for sending a NO-OP to the server when using SFTP to prevent idle timeouts. - If compression is enabled in SecureFX and the remote host does not support compression, SecureFX now falls back to compression "None" rather than disconnecting. - SecureFX now displays firewall information in the log view. Bug fixes: - SecureFX was incorrectly parsing file listings when connecting to an OS/400 server which caused files to be uploaded into the wrong directory. Changes: - The Key Generation wizard now asks if the key that was just generated should be set as the global public key. Bug fixes: - Drag and drop wasn't working correctly in some cases for Windows XP installations. - SecureFX crashed while listing files if a file in a folder had an invalid or corrupt icon associated with it.
