If you have not purchased a version 5.0 upgrade license and are upgrading from a license purchased before December 1, 2003, we recommend that you install the new release to a different directory. Please see the Upgrade Eligibility page for more information on upgrade prices and ordering.

Note: In order to use SecureCRT's Secure Shell protocol support, you must have access to an Secure Shell server. If you are not sure, check with your ISP or local network administrator.
