SecureCRT® for Windows

Network administrators and technical professionals everywhere depend on these core strengths of SecureCRT for Windows:

  • Quality emulation
  • Standards-based security
  • Powerful session management
  • High-productivity interface
  • Time-saving automation tools
  • Color Schemes

Pre-defined color schemes, including Solarized, make it easy to change the look of your terminal workspace. Choose from a variety of light and dark color combinations with coordinated background, foreground, and ANSI colors.

  • Tab Groups

Tab groups allow you to compare the output of two sessions and group related sessions in the same SecureCRT window, so that you can get more done in less time. You can organize sessions in tabs and switch easily between them. Or you can work in one tab while monitoring the output from a command in another tab and then go back to a single tab group when the command has finished.

  • Keyword Highlighting

Specifying keyword colors on an individual basis lets you color code output to make specific strings stand out. Keyword attributes (bold, reverse video, and color) can be combined. On the Windows and Mac platforms, regular expressions can be specified as keywords, making it easier to highlight strings like IP addresses.

  • Configure & Save Sessions

SecureCRT gives you extensive session management options. Name your sessions, save and recall session settings, and configure custom keyboard, display, connection and other settings for each session. You can also organize your sessions in folders, copy a session to define a new connection, quickly create desktop shortcuts, and access your sessions quickly by typing part of the session name in the Connect bar or the Session Manager's filter bar.

  • Authentication

SecureCRT supports password, public key, Kerberos v5 (via GSSAPI), and keyboard interactive authentication methods. Public key support includes RSA, Ed25519, ECDSA (RFC 5656), DSA, PuTTY PPK, OpenSSH certificates, and X.509 including smart cards (PIV/CAC).
