FTP Client Better, Still Absolutely Easy tp Use

AbsoluteFTP® 1.8 Ready to Upgrade CuteFTP Users

Albuquerque, N.M. (July 24, 2000) — Van Dyke Technologies, Inc.®, a provider of quality Internet software, announced today the official release of AbsoluteFTP® 1.8 for Windows®. Session management is the focus of this release: the new software will import CuteFTP 4.0 databases and continues to make setting up FTP connections easier and more controllable.

Users can now organize sessions in the Connect dialog in any order as well as alphabetically. The tree session view supports drag-and-drop moving of sessions anywhere in the tree. AbsoluteFTP can also import the latest CuteFTP 4.0 sessions directly into the AbsoluteFTP session tree. Import also brings in sessions from CuteFTP 2.0, 2.6, and 3.0, as well as any release of WS_FTP through version 6.5.

AbsoluteFTP is a 32-bit WinSock application with a familiar Windows Explorer interface, drag-and-drop file transfers, interrupted transfer resume, and customizable file types. AbsoluteFTP's advanced features include multiple simultaneous connections, server-to-server transfers, and site synchronization.

AbsoluteFTP 1.8 is priced at $29.95 USD for a single license and $250 USD for a 10-user license. AbsoluteFTP supports Windows NT, Windows 95, and Windows 98. A fully functional version is available for download and evaluation with a 30-day license from the following locations.
