VanDyke Software makes it easy to maintain SecureCRT by providing a number of ways to receive notifications of updates and new releases.
Software Updates
At VanDyke Software, we are always working on improving SecureCRT's performance as well as the end-user experience. We make every effort to address reported bugs or suspected vulnerabilities in a timely manner, and updates to address those issues are available with an active license absolutely free.
If you have an eligible license, you may also download a free version update, which provides new features and expanded capabilities. If you have an ineligible license, you may purchase the upgrade to gain access to the "new and improved" SecureCRT release.
Automatic Update Notifications
You can get automatic update notifications about all SecureCRT maintenance updates and major version releases in a number of ways:
Built-in software maintenance checks
Every 30 days, SecureCRT will automatically deliver a pop-up reminder to check for updates. The notification window links to our Upgrades page, which puts both updates included under your license and updates that may be purchased just one click away.
Product Announcement Subscription List
All SecureCRT maintenance updates and version upgrades (including beta releases) are announced on VanDyke Software's product announcements list. To get all new release announcements sent directly to your email, subscribe to the announcements list.
