The Credentials Manager simplifies local password management within SecureCRT and SecureFX. Rather than specifying credentials for each saved session, sessions can reference an entry in the local Credentials Manager, making it easier to update stored passwords. This is especially helpful when monthly, weekly, or even daily password changes are required.
Active Sessions Manager (Mac and Linux)WML
Working with a large number of connections is made easier with the dockable Active Sessions Manager (previously Windows only). See at a glance the connection status of all open sessions. Use the filter bar to quickly locate specific sessions as well as local shells, scratchpads, and open scripts.
Text file importWML
A wizard facilitates importing sessions from CSV, TSV, or other delimited text files. Previously, sessions had to be imported manually or with a script.
Mouse wheel tab scrollingWML
Use the mouse wheel to scroll the tab bar when some tabs are hidden because a lot of sessions are open.
If the Cipher or MAC algorithm negotiation fails during an attempted SSH2 connection, SecureCRT can enable a supported algorithm and try again.
Temporarily rename window (Windows)W
The ability to temporarily rename a window makes it easier to locate a specific SecureCRT window from the Windows taskbar when multiple instances are running.
Updated FIPS module (Windows)W
SecureCRT 9.2 includes an updated module for Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 compliance.
