Data and Connection Encryption for Secure File Transfer Operations

Data and Connection Encryption for Secure File Transfer Operations

There are a number of mechanisms and security protocols you may use to protect your data in transit from eavesdropping or data sniffing. SecureFX® is a flexible file transfer program that allows you to choose a secure file transfer protocol that automatically employs data encryption.

Automated Data Encryption

SecureFX supports a number of security protocols that automatically encrypt data, including usernames and passwords, prior to transfer. When you select SFTP, SCP, or FTP over SSL, you establish an encrypted connection to enable secure file transfer.

Multiple Platform Support

SecureFX is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, allowing you to standardize on a single file transfer client. Implementation of a standardized file transfer program minimizes (re) training for users moving between operating systems and enables secure internal and external file transfers.

Secure File Transfer Management

The capabilities of SecureFX can be expanded when used with other VanDyke Software products—SecureCRT® and VShell® server. The VShell server gives you the capability to define varying levels of permissions, and by limiting file access, you can allow remote file transfer without jeopardizing the security of your network.
